Relay Race

My parents and sister ran a relay race over the weekend. It was 178 miles long. They started in Logan and the finish line was Main Street in Park Street. It took their team a little over 24 hours, I thought it sounded awesome. Anyway, are you wondering about the hilarious picture? I had to post it. That group was called "Running Behind" I got a kick out of their outfit! My family was Napolean Dynamite!

hero

Born in Salt Lake City on June 23, 1910, Gordon B. Hinckley was prepared from his youth to be a prophet. After graduating from the University of Utah, he was called to serve a mission to Great Britain. After he returned, he embarked on a lifetime of service for the Church. He married Marjorie Pay on April 29, 1937, in the Salt Lake Temple. They have five children and over 26 grandchildren.
May we all remember this great man today as he CELEBRATES HIS 97TH BIRTHDAY!! My Hero!

SMILE

Every smile tells a different story. These five pictures are of family members having happy moments! First, little DAVIS taking his first photos as a baby! Second, ALI celebrating high school graduation. Third, GUIDER the day he was adopted from Ecuador and is now my cousin!
Fourth, REGGE back on the sunny beach after a two year mission. Fifth, MCKAY showing off his new smile the day he got his braces off! Too often we underestimate the power of touch, a smile, a kind word, or a compliment, all of which have the potential to turn a life around! Because of our smiles we make life more beautiful!

We are back from a great eight day trip to Utah! Jackson and
I had so much fun visiting grandma and grandpa and friends!
We went to the "new" IKEA store.. my first time being inside, and
LOVED it!! It took us about 1 1/2 hours to walk through it all.
My mom spoiled me with a pedicure and manicure and gave
Jackson lots of new cute things including swimming acces. for our
next trip to Cali in August.
We did temple work in the Bountiful Temple, saw Marshalls new
apartment and car, went to a cute movie, WAITRESS , shopped
in Park City, played with Sara, Cafe Rio, the whole bit! Jackson
had his first series of shots and was a trooper! His grandma
was there for support of course!
