milestone

Jackson turned 15 months old today and we're pretty excited for that!! It means two things : 1 - only three more months till nursery and 2- the older he gets means its getting closer to little sister coming!! Jackson is such a highlight and a ball full of energy. I honestly don't know how he can be so energetic ALL DAY long. He keeps us busy but we love it. His new favorite things are popsicles, deli turkey, swimming pools, saying "JJ" , and seeing Tony when he gets home from work. We continue to feel so blessed that he is our son!

LFO 2008

Get ready for lots of pictures of one of the funnest family reunions yet.... Location: Rexburg Idaho. A tradition that has been going for over 25 years!

This first picture is probably my favorite. Grandpa asked for all the primary kids to come up and sing I am A Child of God. I guess Jackson thinks he's 7 years old and needs to be apart of the action.

Jackson, Boo and Avery coloring together
Here is our annual candy toss. why not put Jackson in the sling shot to see how he would like it... right???? he hated it but Uncle Ben insisted on capturing a photo of this traumatizing moment.

Two of favorite girls!! Arent they gorgous.... like their moms!

A view from the 2nd floor during our church service.

Jackson enjoying his first time to the Spray Park!! I love his saggy swim diaper too.

One of Jacksons little buddies, Harrison. They are only a month apart in age. Jackson loved giving Harrison as many hugs as he could.

Mommy and Jackson.

Ali and Jackson after the Teton Marathon..... she is tired from the race but still looks great.

The family before the BIG RACE!! They all did great. My mom AND dad both took 1st place in their age division!! CONGRATS!! Our family enjoys running.

Outside the cabin getting some fresh air with the cousins!! There is over 100 of us now in the Larsen Family so getting together is such a HIGHLIGHT!!

Just remembering how good this movie is.....

Pismo Beach

Yeah, we finally got a chance to go to the beach. It was the perfect day. The weather was great and everyone had a fun time. I thought Jackson would eat the sand but he did really well and kept it out of his mouth. He loved the toys we brought for the sand too. Of course the big boys had their fun in the water and with their skin boards. I mainly stayed on the beach (what I like best) and watched Jackson have so much fun. Any time that we get with Tony away from work is always a great day!

Having an ALI moment

So I was sitting at the beach on the towel and just started cracking up. It was one of those times I wish my sister was with me... she's probably the only other person that would think this was funny. But this cute lady left a little (actually there was a lot) toilet paper in her pants after going to the bathroom. Her husband (that is in all the pictures) didnt even tell her for 5 minutes. I was laughing so hard... wishing I could have spent that moment with Ali.

Friday, June 20

It is 10:30 at night and I am sitting at the table with dinner ready. It has been about 12 hours since I have seen Tony. Well, he just walked in and said "Hi hun, when I pulled in Regge and I saw a family moving in and we would like to help them unload their truck, so ill be back in about an hour." My first reaction was thinking to myself... what about me? what about this warm dinner on the table? dont you want to spend time with Jackson and I ?
Then it made sense, these two guys have grown up being examples and giving service to others. Im very grateful his parents raised him this way. Tony and Reg are pretty much best friends and I am really grateful that they get to work and spend everyday together.
By the time he gets home Im sure ill be in bed and the food will be cold but I know that Tony will feel better for doing service and for helping a young family unload after a long trip.... this is just one of the reasons I married HIM!!

As Spencer would say, "His stage was off the hook!"

MUSIC to my ears

I was away for Fathers Day in Utah this year. So I hid a pair of Brad Paisley tickets in a cowboy hat under the bed (tony never looks under there) hoping that he wouldnt notice till Sunday came. He didnt!! On Fathers Day I told him there was a little surprise for him under the bed. Tony was totally shocked and VERY happy!! Since living in Cali we havent been on a date without Jackson (in 8 weeks) and some time alone was LONG OVERDUE. I think my husband is one of the greatest country music fans. We have been to Rascal Flatts, Emerson Drive, Tim McGraw etc. and he has been to plenty more without me.
Well last night was our concert and I was excited all day for 7:30 to come. Unlce Reg babysatt Jackson. Brad Paisley was GREAT and should seriously win etertainer of the year. I loved every song and was happy that I recognized almost everyone. Julilann Hough (from dancing with the stars) Chuck Wicks and Jewel opened for him. There was a big variety of music. Brads band was great, and from the pics youll notice they played guitar hero which was hilarious. I had a great time with my hubby!

He Has Her HEART!

If the home town date goes well and his son is as cute as it seems... JASON has it in the BAG!! My prediction for Bachelorette 2008....

HAppy FaThers DaY to the GREAT men in my LIFE!!! My father who is an amazing example to me everyday. He is so kind and always caring for others. He has been so supportive of Tony and I and is a GREAT grandfather. I love my dad very much.
Tony, of course a WONDERFUL father too. He loves Jackson so much and I love watching the two of them together. He is such a great husband and I am so in love with him. Im grateful for him and supporting our family.
Marshalls wife recently had a baby girl named ANNABELLE! So he is a daddy too. He is already doing great. Im grateful for the men in my life and the example they are to me.

Day at the ZOO.

On Monday my parents took Jackson and I to the ZOO for the whole afternoon. It was the perfect day with great weather and Jackson really enjoyed himself. We rode the train, saw giraffes, elephants, monkeys, the white alligator, lions, zebras, and birds (and many more) we also had lunch, and grandma took Jackson on his first carousel ride. I love visiting home for the summer and watching my son get to know and love his grandparents. We will be making many more trips to the ZOO !

30 is the new 20!! This is my gorgous sister in law Andrea who just turned 30. I wanted to share with all of you what a great woman she is. She is pretty much the perfect example of being the best mother. It seems like I am always calling her to ask for tips on babies, toddlers, what to feed Jackson, diet tips, running tips,... she knows it all!!! She is currently moving to Wisconsin so I dont know when I will see her next, but Andrea, I love you so much and am so glad that Tony's oldest sister is YOU!!!!

another conversation with himself.... thinking he's on the phone I guess.

Here he is basking in the sun!
