Kensington's first photoshoot
one week old

Tuesday, October 7

We're loving every moment we spend with Kensington.

Last month we started a very LARGE project. We finished our backyard.....!!!! It was a lot bigger ordeal than I would have ever guessed. After the summer we came home to 5 ft high weeds and knew something needed to be done. So it started....

We picked weeds for 2 days straight...

My family came up from Utah for 3 days and helped put in our sprinkler system... The Hydes were lots of help too.
Lots of dirt and leveling out the ground...

Planting the seed into the ground.... then we watered every day, lots of times per day, patiently waiting for grass to come up from the ground.
This morning TONY mowed our lawn and is very proud of how it looks after one month!! We are so glad that we decided to go with seed, it seems like it has come in very think and even. Now Jackson has a backyard to run around! Thanks Hydes and Snarrs for all your help!

BROTHER AND SISTER

Wednesday, October 1

We've been trying to stay really busy with Jackson and doing fun things with him before his sister comes. Tony decided to make...the largest.... front yard slide. Ha, Jackson didnt really understand what was going on but it was a riot seeing him slip and slide.

My bag is packed for the hopsital and her first outfit is clean and ready to put on. My mom will be here in less than 24 hours to help me get ready for our important day. Its really starting to feel different now that everything is changing and as we are preparing for this new baby.

Friday, September 26

I've had my PINK Kitchen-Aid for over 2 years now and it has never been touched. Well, until a couple days ago. I grabbed my LFO cookbook and found a delicous cookie recipe. I bought my kitchen aid just for looks but have been given a hard time from Tony for the last little while that just because its 'pink and pretty' doesnt mean it cant be put to use. So now i've decided it can be out on my countertop and be used to make goodies!

From September through October our Friday nights are always spent watching High School Football. Tony's younger brothers are quarterbacks for both JV and Varsity games!! We cheer loud and Jackson loves watching the half time shows/cheerleaders. Grandma keeps him entertained with popcorn and treats too. I think high school sports is honestly what keeps us in Idaho...Tony might just be JJ's "biggest fan."

JJ has lots of girl support...Im sure the family chicks arent the only ones that have their eye on him! :)
