So this is a typical conversation that Jackson has with himself on the deck every single day. He yells "dadda" over and over again. He loves being outside and surprises anyone that walks by, by yelling at them. Its quite funny.

Is my son really only 14 months old???? I swear he gives me a run for my money every single day. I am finally understanding how those parents feel when they say, " I can never take my eye off him." So now you have a better understanding of what I do all day...

Thanks Grandma for the cookie graham, it was a great hit and Jackson went to town. Also, for the darling book that he LOVES! We miss you lots and cant wait to see you next month!

homemade dinna

I made dinner last week for 11 guys. It was fun to have them over and I loving cooking lately. I know they probably get sick of fast food so I wanted to make something that they probably wouldnt be able to order.

gas PRICES

Gas prices are killing us lately. I took this picture about 1/2 mile from my house. $4.25 for REGULAR!! But, I decided to drive the extra mile to fill up at Costco. I HIGHLY recommend you getting a membership to save you lots of $$$. I paid $3.98 a gallon, and after I filled up, my card was charged $68.00- I finally had to stop! So, I saved $4.86 by going to Costco which adds up fast because Tony fills up twice a week! Costco membership is 50 bucks but we paid that back in 2 months of buying gas their.
So thats my recommendation for the week!!!

I am so excited to add PINK back into my life!!! We just found out on Monday that we are expecting a baby GIRL!!! We are so thrilled and cant believe its really true. When I went to the doctor I made her recheck and recheck cause I was certain Jackson was going to have a brother. She assured me that there were no 'extra' body parts and to start thinking PINK! During my ultrasound she also was so surprised how active my baby was being in my stomach.... I just laughed, and said "well Jackson is her older brother..and Tony is her daddy!" That must be where she gets her very active moves from. We are counting down the days and even though we still have four more months I am excited that I will finally not be out numbered. I know I can handle a girl, I just hope she is as easy as Jackson.

Tony totally scored this Mothers Day with the gifts!! He bought me a beautiful bouquet of 15 purple roses. I have never had purple ones before so that was a great change!!

And this YUMMY delicious perfume from DKNY (thanks to Ben ) which I LOVE. The smell is amazing.

And this key fob for my Altima. Jackson sucked on our last one at it rusted inside and stopped working. We have been meaning to get one now for over 6 months and I was the happiest person when it came in the mail!! Key fobs are probably the most convienant thing in the world when you have carseats, groceries, diaper bags, ya know... your hands full.
But the best was the sweet card that he wrote me!! He is a good 'card writer' and expresses his thoughts a lot better that way. Im so lucky!

Fearless

If you know my son well enough you know that he has a GREAT love for animals. It doesnt matter the size, shape, or color of that animal he goes right up to it. He is fearless... So this picture below is hilarious, we went to a great park with lots of animals. This peacock got really mad at Jackson and opened up its wings and gave a hiss. That of course made Jackson even more excited that he started chasing it. Thats when I got scared, but I had to take a picture. I love that Jackson loves life!!

ELLEN TURNED 50 !! What? She looks great, dont ya think?? If any of you watched her show on Thursday she showed all the pictures from her birthday party. She held a HUGE carnival with over 600 guests. It looked quite fun.

Now to the point of this blog... at the end of her show she started getting emotional. As everyone probably knows this week California made it legal for gay couples to get married. She explained that and started crying, then announced to the million of viewers watching that she was getting MARRIED!! What the.... what bugged me most is that the audience gave her a standing ovation after her announcement.

The Church of Jesus Christ believes that we have the power to control our behavior. I have very strong feelings about this topic and sometimes dont clearly understand why Satan has tempted the world with such sin. There is no fullness of joy in the next life without a family unit, including a husband, a wife, and their posterity. In the eternal perspective, I think that same-gender activity will only bring sorrow and grief and the loss of eternal opportunities for yourself.

Im grateful to be married to such a great husband and for the knowledge of knowing that my family will be together forever, the way God planned.

I did an 'up-do' over the weekend for Prom. My sister is in college now so it has been a few years since I have stabbed a head with a few bobby pins. With our creativity at work the finish product looked fantastic and was done in 15 minutes! Kirsten looked great.

BASEBALL!! I have been asking Tony to take me to a baseball game for the last two weeks and he finally had a chance to get off work early so we could go. We had such a great time and I think Jackson really enjoyed it too.

Our Fresno Grizzlies lost by three or four but we still enjoyed our FOOT LONG hotdogs.

Jackson loved the music in between each inning. He was always dancing! I love getting out of the house for a fun entertaining night as a family.

We love that Regge gets to come along with us too.

Funny story: I was feeding Jackson some cheerios yesterday and he was seriously eating them SO fast. I couldnt understand why he wasnt choking and how he could get like 8 cheerios down in 3 seconds. Well a minute later he opened his mouth really wide because he wanted more. To my surprise I saw more teeth!!! I didnt even know that he had grown the ones in the back already. He is chewing like a big boy and this whole time I thought he just had his cute little front teeth. Poor kid went through a teething stage and I didnt even know it. Ha, thats something I would not look for. So, he has 10 teeth now and who knows when he'll get more! (sorry the pic of his mouth is a little weird, he wasnt cooperating too well with my fingers in his mouth) :)
